Ernest R. Grandberry of Pulaski, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday at Southern TN Regional Health System, Pulaski. He was born in Mt. Pleasant and was 77 years old.

He was a member of Wayman Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and retired from Timken in Pulaski. He also worked in the catering business.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bart and Margaret Webster Grandberry; four brothers: Bart Jr., Johnny, James and George; and two sisters: Annie Barton and Edna Grandberry.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roundtree, Napier and Ogilvie Columbia Funeral Home and Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church with funeral services to follow.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Porter; two sisters: Mary P. Scott and Margaret Frierson; devoted friends; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Roundtree, Napier and Ogilvie Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Ernest R. Grandberry.
