Mary Alice Hill Boyd, age 94, died Saturday, January 22nd after a short illness. She was born in Cowan, attended MTSU graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She also graduated from George Peabody College (Vanderbilt University), with a Masters and ScD in Education. She was a member of the Cowan Church of Christ and Hillsboro Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband William, daughter Mary Jane and husband Warren Ziegler, son Bill and wife Elizabeth Boyd, and 4 grandchildren.
Graveside service will be Saturday, January 29th at 1 pm at Lynnwood Cemetery, Lynnville.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mary Alice Hill Boyd.
