Willie Roy Tatum Sr. age 73 of Pulaski gained his eternal wings on December 13, 2021 following a brief admission to Maury Regional Hospital. He was born on July 4th,1948 in Ellaville, Georgia to the late Hubert Tatum and the late Rosie Mae World Tatum Jerden.  He was a retired Army veteran that loved serving his country, in addition to spending time with his family, building his relationship with God, gardening and providing homes to several animals over the years. He also enjoyed his music and old movies. 

 Richland LLC was his place of employment for over 25 years.

Although he began serving Christ at an early age, he rededicated his life to the Lord on June 7th of 2018. 

He resided with his youngest daughter, Minister Chelsea Tatum in Pulaski, TN from 2015 until the time of his passing.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, six daughters,  Tria Tatum, Tametris English, Chelsea Tatum, Lucretia Akins, Tosheia (Steadman) Reed, and Frances Britton.  Four sons, Willie Roy Tatum Jr., Bernard Tatum, Paul (Pink Rose) McClesky and James (Sara) McClesky. One brother, Clarence (Shirley) Tatum Sr. Three sisters, Bessie T. Alexander, Iomy Jones and Inez Dixon.  One special devoted friend of 26 years, Nadine White. A cherished young man he took under his wings, Richard Kemp and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service for Willie Roy Tatum Sr. will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 beginning 2:00p.m. at Temple of Praise Missionary Baptist Church, 1030 Ragsdale Lane, Pulaski, Tennessee.

Social distancing and wearing of masks is strongly encouraged.
