Robert M. (Roby) Petty, age 59 (born October 1, 1962) passed away on November 28, 2021 doing what he loved, playing his keyboard with his band P.B.R.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

Roby was preceded in death by his dad, William H. (Billy) Petty and his uncle, Rade Winford Young.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Young Petty, uncle, William T. (Bill) Young and wife Debbie. A very special friend, Lisa Saleh. Aunt Peggy Young, aunt Sandra Young, and cousins, Ed T Petty III, Ed T Petty IV, Mary Ed Davis, Cyndy Shumate, Maudessa Faulkner, Jason Young, Chad Young, Brett Young, Lindsey Colbert, and Drew Young.  Also many friends in the music world.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to First United Methodist Church music department, Pulaski, TN.
