Mayme Virginia Truslow Walker of Estill Springs died Tuesday. She was 85 years old.

She grew up in Stafford County, Fredericksburg, Virginia, and was retired from Federal Civil Service after 30 years. 

A Christian spouse, mother, grandmother and friend, she served her country as a military spouse, and was employed with Arnold Engineering Development Center and Arnold Air Force Base. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ham and Alice Truslow.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Grant Funeral Services , Estill Springs, with a memorial service to follow at 7 o'clock.

Survivors include her husband Robert “Bob” Walker (USAF retired) of Estill Springs; sons: Robert “Bob” Walker Jr. of Estill Spriings and Rusty Walker and wife Myra of Pulaski; brother, Billy Truslow and wife Pat; 3 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
