Sylvia Faye (Tink) Ables, age 86 of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday November 10, 2021.

Sylvia was born January 24, 1935 in Pulaski, TN to the late William J. and Ruth C. Smith Dugger. She married Clyde M. Ables on September 10, 1952 and she started her nursing career 1966. Sylvia worked two years at the hospital, ten years at Fairhaven Nursing Home, eighteen years as a private nurse, and she was a substitute nurse at all the Giles County Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clyde.

Visitation will be Saturday November 13, 2021 from 12 until 2pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 2pm with interment to follow in Giles Memory Gardens.

Survivors include her son Tim Ables of KY, grandchildren William Clyde Ables, Andrew Lane Ables both of Pulaski, Laura Alyssa Ables of Chapel Hill, special daughter in law Mimi Anderson, special cousins and caregivers Ruth Owens and Betty Parker, numerous other family and friends.
