Violet Marie Norman, age 74 of Goodsprings, passed away Saturday October 30, 2021 at her home.

Violet was born October 31, 1946 in Pulaski, TN to the late Lafayette and Maggie Lou Webster Poarch. She was a member of Providence Church of Christ, loved listening to music, dancing and working in her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mary Lou Ballentine, Virginia Simpson, brothers Morris, Alex, Davis, and Clifford Poarch, and a special nephew Paul Poarch.

Visitation will be Monday November 1, 2021 from 4-7 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2pm Tuesday November 2, 2021 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years Tony Norman of Goodspring, son Donnie Norman of Goodspring, brother Robert Poarch of Ardmore, grandchildren Kayla Luther, Audrey Gateley three great grandchildren, sisters in law Velma Loveless and husband Austin of Pulaski, Martha Baker and husband Bobby of Goodspring, brother in law Ed Norman of Ohio, several nieces and nephews.
