John “Johnny” King Rayburn, Jr. passed away Sunday, October 17th, 2021 at NHC in Pulaski, TN. He was born on November 5th, 1940 in Pulaski, TN and was 80 years old.

Johnny was a graduate of Giles County High School and Athens College. He was a U.S. Army veteran and   worked at Rayburn Motor Company for 45 years. Johnny was a founding member of the Candy Stripes Band, a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club, served on the Board of Tennessee Farm Bureau and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Pulaski. He was a wonderful husband and a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and generous friend.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 22nd, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral Service will take place Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Doris Mason Rayburn.

Wife of 43 years, Paula Gayle Rayburn of Pulaski, TN.

Daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Bjorson of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.

Grandchildren, Owen and Emery Bjorson of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin.

Brother, Jimmy Rayburn of Frankewing, TN

Brother-in-law, Andy Fowler of Athens, AL.

Several other family members and friends also survive.
