Jerry Holley of Pulaski died Saturday at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski. He was born in the Diana community and was 86 years old.
He was the owner/operator of J & J Truck Stop for 15 years. He was a U.S Army veteran, who served in the Korean War and was a former Giles County Commissioner.
He s preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Tompkins Holley; parent, Louis Rogers and Velna Whitworth Holley; sisters: Martha Delaney, Deloris Beckham and Elwyona Lanier; brother, Carl Holley; and son-in-law, Ed Martin.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery with full military honors.
Survivors include his daughters: Wanda Martin, Shawn Holley and Tina Holley and Bobby Beech, all of Pulaski; brother, Ronnie Holley and wife Barbara of Pulaski; sister, Willa Mae Greene of Pulaski; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
