William Alfred McNairy died Saturday, September 18th at Southern Tennessee Regional of Pulaski. He was born in Pulaski, a member of Rocky Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended school in the Giles County School System. He reached the rank of Master Sergeant in the U. S. Army and retired from the U.S. Army in 1982. He and his wife owned McNairy's Flowerama, He served as Chaplain for the State VFW Office, was a board member of the South Central Human Resource Agency, and deacon of his Church.

Survivors include a sister Alberta Berry of Illinois, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 9:00 until 4:00pm Thursday and Friday, September 23rd & 24th at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

A private family graveside service with full military honors will be 10:30am Saturday, September 25th at Giles Memory Gardens in Pulaski, Tennessee.

Memorial donations are suggested to the charity of your choice in memory of William.
