Edward Rex Rogers, 73, passed on September 7, 2021. He was born In McMinnville on January 12, 1948.

He was a Staff Sargent in the United States Air force for 20 years of service. Additionally, he served as a Hospice Compassus Chaplain and a deacon of Highland Church of Christ, Columbia, TN.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Smith Rogers, two children, Brandon Rogers of Seattle, WA and Rachel Freund, of Joplin, MO, two grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. At Highland Church of Christ Columbia, TN with the Funeral Service beginning at 6 p.m. Interment will be on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 at 10 a.m. In The Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery Nashville, TN.
