Carolyn Faye Townsend Jones Allen, age 72, passed away at her home on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

She was born on March 1, 1949,  retired hairdresser and owner of Bargain Shop, she was preceded in death by her parents, Tyson David and Jessie Mae Monroe Townsend and husband, Winford Jones.

Visitation will begin at 11AM on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home until 2PM Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, funeral time at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, burial will follow in Minor Hill Cemetery.

Survivors are:  husband, James Allen, Minor Hill, son, Jason Jones and Leah of Lawrenceburg, TN, daughter, Tangie Barnickle and Gene, Pulaski, sister, Joan Sacharnoski and Bill, Minor Hill, grandchildren, Whitney (Zac) Bassham, Taylor and Sam Barnickle, Natalie and Brody Jones, great grandchildren, Charlie Mae Bassham, Kash Hargrove, several nieces and nephews.
