Riley “RiRi” Murray Martin of Pulaski died Saturday at V-A Medical Center Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born in Lynnville and was 68 years old.

He served in the United Stated Marines during the Vietnam war and was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Matthew’s House of Praise. 

Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremiah Gardner officiating. Burial will in Everbright Cemetery

He is survived by his wife, Alfreda Martin of Pulaski; daughter, Valatta Martin of Columbia; sons: Demetrius Perry and Derrick Perry of Pulaski; brother, David Martin of Kentucky; sisters-in-law: Sheila Maxwell, Juanita Townsend and husband John, Brenda Tuggle and husband Greg, Carolyn Westmoreland and Glenda Brown; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and severaL nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Riley “Ri Ri” Murray Martin.
