Wayne Kelley of the Prospect community died Monday at his home. The retired mechanic was born in Athens, Alabama, and was 86 years old.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Kelley of Prospect; sons: Paul Wayne Kelley of the Aspen Hill community, Perry Kelley and wife Jennifer of Prospect; daughter, Pam Lamb and husband Travis of the Bodenham community; brothers: John Kelley and Ray Kelley, both of the Stella community; sisters: Helen Beddingfield of Ardmore, Alabama, and Eva Watkins of Athens; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Carr and Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Wayne Kelley.
