Ruth Hutton Burns died Sunday at Southern TN Regional Health System, Pulaski. She was born in Giles County and 84 years old.

She was retired as secretary for First Baptist Church, where she was a member, volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital and a member of the Joyful Workers Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Pulaski. Burial will be in Giles Memory Gardens.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, Pulaski.

Survivors include sons: Bruce Burns and wife Teresa of Pulaski, Bob Burns of Georgia; daughters: Betty Ervin of Lynnville, Beverly Toone and husband Terry of Pulaski; special friend, Linda Dale, numerous nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
