Cody Seth Hawkins of Pulaski died Saturday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born in Columbia and was 27 years old.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles Country Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mighty Oak Cemetery

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Elaina Hawkins of Pulaski; daughter, Kailynne Hawkins of Pulaski; son, Cayston Hawkins of Pulaski; father, Joseph Hawkins of Pulaski; mother, Sheryl Hawkins; sisters, Rhonda Cummings and Chelsea Ellis, brother, Jimmy Cummings, all of Mississippi; sister, Amy McIntosh of Pulaski; mother and father-in-law, Tim and Velena Newton of Pulaski; sisters-in-law, Jessica Newton of Alabama and Olivia Newton of Pulaski. Numerous family and friends also survive.
