Police are hoping the public can help locate a teenager suspected of firing shots earlier this month at a vehicle in Columbia.

Keiontrez Troup, 19, is wanted on a charge of attempted first-degree murder.

The charge stems from an incident around 1pm on June 13th along East Seventh Street.

According to Columbia police, Troup fired a gun at a car causing at least three bullets to hit the vehicle with three people inside. No one was hurt.

"Based on witness statements and evidence, we were able to come up with a suspect really quick," Sgt. Orlando Cox with the Columbia Police Department said.

Anyone with information on Troup's whereabouts is urged to contact the Columbia Police Department at 931-388-2727 or Maury County Crimestoppers at 931-381-4900.
