Several items were discussed on the Tuesday, June 12th in the Pulaski Board of Mayor and Alderman’s regular meeting.

Due to several issues concerning the Temporary Change of a Pulaski Municipal Code to allow for the consumption of beer on the square at this weekend’s Summer Soulstice event, the board decided to have a called meeting on Thursday at 3:30, so the amendment can be worded properly.

In other action, Mayor Pat Ford nominated Daniel Haney to be re-elected to a complete term for the Pulaski Housing Authority board, which was approved. The 2018-2019 budget was approved and some of the items such as work on the Magazine Road Bridge, new roof for the Recreation Center, several paving jobs and more were mentioned. The current tax rate of 56.12 percent per hundred was also excepted.

Prior to the closing of this session, it was determined that Health Insurance bidding and repair to the fencing at the Historic part of Maplewood Cemetery would be listed as work sessions item.
