According to TDOT, work continues in our area. If you’re going to be traveling, take note of these work areas in Southern Middle Tennessee…


There will be a lane closures on I-65 northbound for bridge work between Mile-Marker 13 and 15 in Giles County on Monday.


The repair of bridges on SR-246 over Carters Creek and Mayhorn Branch will continue through June, the roadway is reduced to one lane. Temporary traffic signals are in place.


Construction of a new interchange including a bridge and paving on SR-166 at US 43 in Mount Pleasant is ongoing, daily, from 9am until 3:30pm. There will be lane closures and rolling road blocks in both directions on US-43 for bridge deck welding and blasting.


The bridge repair over Leipers Creek is underway and will continue through June, SR 247 is reduced to one lane at bridges. Temporary traffic signals control traffic movements at both locations.
