The Giles County Senior Citizens Center is hosting a political forum on June 12 at 10:00am.

Lois Aymett of the center invites all local political candidates and the public for a discussion of issues that affect seniors in Giles County.

The senior population of 65 and older in the county is expected to grow by 26 percent by the year 2030. There are many healthcare and livability issues that affect seniors and this forum is designed to bring these issues up front during this election year.

The Giles County Senior Citizens Center offers a variety of activities and events five days per week. For more information call 363-7441.
