A local man is facing felony charges after he allegedly phoned in a bomb threat against Nissan Stadium and tried to get a CMA concert canceled.

Joshua Williamson, 28, of Columbia, was charged with making a false report of an emergency after he allegedly made the threat to a Nissan Stadium security representative Wednesday, according to a news release.

Detectives were able to link Williamson to the out-of-state telephone number from which the call was placed. He was taken into custody at a downtown Nashville business where he works.

Police said Williamson admitted to making the threatening call after his arrest but had no plan to carry it out.

After the arrest, authorities also found Williamson had an outstanding warrant in Columbia for aggravated burglary.
