The Giles Fire & Rescue got the call to a house fire on the Prospect Road Wednesday morning about 11:15.

The house was used as a rental property and the tenants were in the process of moving in. The family is being assisted by the Red Cross.

The home belonged to Ashley Pickett and was a total loss from the blaze.
