NARCOTIC INVESTIGATORS WITH THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT MADE AN ARREST MONDAY AFTER LOCATING GREG MICHAEL DOSS, 34, OF LAWRENCEBURG, WHO WAS WANTED ON SEVERAL OUTSTANDING FELONY WARRANTS. ACCORDING TO A PRESS RELEASE, DOSS WAS LOCATED AT A LOCAL BUSINESS. DURING A SEARCH OF DOSS’ POCKETS, A BAG OF METH ALONG WITH A SYRINGE WAS LOCATED. A CANINE DOG WITH THE NARCOTICS DIVISION INDICATED THE ODOR OF ILLEGAL NARCOTICS COMING FROM DOSS' VEHICLE. THE SEARCH YIELDED A TOTAL 17.6 GRAMS OF METHAMPHETAMINE, 61 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA, 4 ¼ XANAX BARS, AN OXYCODONE PILL, A GRINDER, DIGITAL SCALES, BUTANE TORCH, AND OTHER ITEMS OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. A LOADED 45 CALIBER HANDGUN AND A BOX OF AMMUNITION WAS ALSO LOCATED IN THE VEHICLE. DOSS WAS SERVED ON THE OUTSTANDING WARRANTS AND WAS ISSUED NEW WARRANTS FOR POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE II AND SCHEDULE VI FOR RESALE (METH), POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE IV AND SCHEDULE II (OXYCODONE), UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON, AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. DOSS IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD IN THE LAWRENCE COUNTY DETENTION CENTER ON A $279,000 BOND.
