Former Nashville Mayor and Gubernatorial candidate Karl Dean visited Pulaski Monday, making a stop at the WKSR studios. On-air personality Don Eastep interviewed Dean, who was accompanied by his aide, Colby Woodith.

Dean has officially announced his run for the governor's seat and he discussed some of his platform, which includes an emphasis on public education, a good Internet infrastructure and local government. Dean ended the interview by saying Giles County has a great Courthouse.

Accompanying Dean around the city were Martin Methodist College Director of Communications Sissy Garner, Pulaski Mayor Pat Ford and Maury County Fire Chief Ty Cobb, a native of Giles County and former State Representative.
