The Giles County Bobcats completed Spring Practices with a convincing 35-0 victory in a scrimmage over Clearwater before an impressive showing of over 250 spectators.

One of the top new players will be the starting quarterback, Johnny Jackson, a transfer from Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama.  Johnny is an impressive 6'1" and 200 pounds and has the athleticism to be a runner and a passer.

X Randolph returned to action with two electric touchdown runs and appeared to have gained a step overall. Between he and KT Turner, the Bobcats will have an electric offensive support cast again.

The defense was highlighted by the performance of Dakota "Slim" Jackson, who led the way with several tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery. Slim made two game-sealing interceptions in back-to-back playoff wins for the Bobcats last year.
