In a story that proves just how powerful a tornado can be…

Surveyors have been tracking debris from tornadoes earlier this month that ripped through Tennessee, claiming 15 lives.

The National Weather Service says a paper phone bill from Wayne County was found in a Wilson County yard. The debris traveled 101 miles from a confirmed, long-track tornado on the night of March 31st.

The Wayne County tornado had maximum winds of 130 miles per hour. It tracked approximately 38 miles in length and half a mile in width, lasting 41 minutes and ending in Lewis County.

Two other tornadoes were confirmed that same night through parts of Marshall, Rutherford, Bedford and Cannon counties.
