A crash near the Alabama/Tennessee state line turned deadly Monday.

Emergency personnel responded to the crash near downtown Ardmore and confirmed one person was dead at the scene.

The crash happened on the Tennessee side of Highway 53.

According to authorities, the crash happened at the intersection of Main Street and Carson Way in Ardmore
