Storms came through Pulaski just before noon, knocking over trees, power lines, causing flash flooding, and leaving several thousand customers without power.

The eagle that graces the top of the Giles County Courthouse also was damaged by high winds.

The Eagle is now leaning over to one side.

Local authorities believe the damage to the Eagle to be minor, just a damaged mount.

Repairs will be conducted in the near future.
