The Pulaski Citizen is bouncing back and staying in business.

Main Street Media Tennessee has just finalized the purchase of the Pulaski Citizen, the newspaper announced Monday morning. The purchase was finalized on Friday evening. Their first edition as a part of the media group will run on February 22nd.

Headquartered in Gallatin, Tennessee, and owned by Dave and Ellen Gould, Main Street Media publishes 14 local weekly newspapers in 11 Middle Tennessee counties along with three web-only publications and a streaming television station.

The Gould’s did not announce any immediate changes for the newspaper, but did say that their focus will be on local news.

The Pulaski Citizen will continue to operate for now out of Holley’s Printing building at 955 West College Street.

All Pulaski Citizen subscriptions, print and online, will be honored.
