In an update to the story about the accident near Sumac Road, this is what the THP is reporting…

A Minivan traveling on Highway 31 south crossed into the path of a semi. The semi swerved to miss minivan, the minivan struck the semi in passenger side fuel tank.

The semi jackknifed in the roadway.

The semi driver was uninjured and the minivan driver was transported to the hospital and released next day.
