Tennessee high school football will have a fresh look next year.

The TSSAA has set initial football regions for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

For our local teams, Richland will be placed in Class 1A Region 5 along with Collinwood High School, Cornersville High School, Eagleville High School, Huntland High School, Moore Co. High School, and Wayne Co. High School.

Giles County will be placed in Class 3A Region 4 along with Community High School, Grundy Co. High School, Sequatchie Co. High School, and Watertown High School.

Schools that disagree with their region placement have until the November 17th TSSAA Board of Control meeting to submit an appeal.
