The Maury Regional Health Care Foundation was recently given a $238,590.38 gift from the late Charles and Gail Pigg.

Charles Pigg spent more than two decades as an electrician with Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC). He was the owner of Pigg’s Electric, which he started in 1973.

Before his death in 2020, Charles Pigg spent his retirement years farming at his Santa Fe residence and restoring the historic Pigg Schoolhouse. An avid collector, he also operated The Pigg Museum, which was featured in a 2010 episode of Tennessee Crossroads.
