The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct safety belt and sobriety roadside checkpoints this week in Giles County on Highway 11 around the 13 mile marker.

In the safety belt checks, Troopers will target those who operate a vehicle without using seat belts and take corrective actions for other violations observed.

For sobriety checks, Troopers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment and also take corrective actions for other violations observed.
