Fayetteville Police Department will host A Proactive Approach to Security for Faith-Based organizations Saturday, Dec. 30.

The training session will be held in the library of Fayetteville high School from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. JP Welch Law Enforcement Training and Consultants will lead the session.

Attendance is limited to the first 75 to register, according to organizers, and cost is $50 per person.

Several topics will be covered, including  a number of different scenarios involving threats to specific members of the church, children and the congregation at large, as well as a variety of other types of emergencies that could occur.
