Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a theft at Thousand Hill Cowboy Church in Ethridge that has ties with Giles County.

On the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 22, the preacher of the church said video showed someone driving a gold SUV breaking into the barn of the church and stealing multiple items.

The next morning, the same vehicle returned to the church and stole a 6 foot-by-12 foot enclosed Homestead trailer with approximately $5,000 worth of cooking supplies in it.

The trailer was spotted in the early hours of Thursday turning off Springer Road onto Pulaski Highway heading towards Pulaski.

The trailer was later recovered at Martin Methodist in Pulaski from where yet another trailer was stolen.

A vehicle matching the same description is wanted for questioning concerning thefts in Maury and Giles County as well.

Anyone with any information concerning these thefts or any other illegal activity is encouraged to call the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department at 931-762-3626 or the Criminal Investigation Division at 931-762-1608.
