The opening round of the TSSAA Playoffs is here….

It’s time to grab a jacket, hope the concession stand is selling hot chocolate and get ready for football playoff action in the state of Tennessee.

Sweetwater is Monroe County’s lone team in the postseason. The WildCats are 4 and 6 in Class 3A action and poised to take on the Bobcats.

Giles County is the No. 3 team in the AP Class 3A poll…The first-ever meeting between the two teams will be in Pulaski at Sam Davis Stadium, a place that the Bobcats have not lost in since October 9th 2020.

The winner of Sweetwater-Giles County game will take-on the winner of Kingston (7-3) and Sequatchie County (4-6) next week.
