The Richland Middle School Raiders played for the Middle School Area Championship last night against the Loretto Mustangs in Loretto.

The Raiders took an early lead in the game with a first quarter touchdown and two point conversion.  After the first quarter Richland lead 8 to nothing.

In the second quarter Loretto would add a touchdown but the conversion failed and Richland led 8 to 6 at the half.

Things turned South for the Raiders in the second half though and Loretto won the Middle School Area Championship  22 to 8.
