The Giles County Sheriff's Department continues its crackdown on illegal drugs and other crimes in Giles County.
Thursday, a Sheriff's Deputy responded to 2550 Hurricane Creek Road to take a report of burglary and theft of various tools, a motorcycle and miscellaneous vehicle parts.
Further investigation led local Investigators to 808 Frye Branch Road, Lynnville. As they arrived, a male subject fled on foot. Investigators, along with Chief Deputy Tommy Chapman, gave foot pursuit and caught the male identified as 44-year-old David Anthony Jackson, who had outstanding warrants for violation of community corrections and violation of probation.
The truck used in the earlier burglary and theft, along with the stolen property, was located as was a juvenile female, who is wanted by Pulaski Police and Lincoln and Franklin counties for various charges. Another female on the property identified as Christina Lynne Ashton is wanted for violation of probation.
Searching the property, Investigators found a methamphetamine lab on the premises. GCSD Narcotics officers and Giles County office Emergency Management were contacted to process the meth lab.
Charges against Jackson include violation of probation, burglary, theft over $1,000 and resisting stop, halt, frisk. he is being held in the Giles County Jail without bond due to the violation of probation and violation of community corrections.
Charges against Ashton include violation of probation and theft over $1,000. She is being held at the Giles County Jail without bond due to the violation of probation.
The case remains under investigation with additional charges to be presented at the next session of the grand jury, involving the meth lab and other paraphernalia located at the scene.
