David Crockett State Park will provide a weekend of fun starting Friday with a waterfall trail hike, a program about toys of the past and one on snakes of Tennessee.

On Saturday, you can stroll in the creek at Crockett Falls, learn owl lore at the museum, enjoy a sing-song story time and then watch Disney's movie about Davy Crockett.

A museum tour will be conducted Sunday along with a black powder demonstration, and playing a game of Pinching Pennies as you hear about the effects of hypothermia.

Finally, a conversation about the aviary's birds of prey will be held.
