There has been some confusion about Giles County High School's football game Friday night against Stratford High School as to where and when it will be played.

GCHS officials have confirmed the GCHS Bobcats will be on the road Friday when they travel to Stratford in Nashville. The game begins at 7 p.m. and can be heard on air at WKSR 100.9 FM, 1420 AM, with the pre-game show beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Originally, the GCHS vs. Stratford game was set to be played at Sam Davis Park but Stratford officials had made plans for a home game that featured Senior Night and Community Night activities.

As a result, GCHS  officials offered to make the trip to Nashville in their final regular season contest.

The Bobcats are locked in to a runner-up finish in the regfion regardless of Friday's result against the Spartans.

Friday morning will be the last of the Coaches Corner this season that can be heard here on WKSR beginning at 8:30 with Wade Neely and Mark Mize bringing you the latest news from Giles County and Richland high school football and more.
