What is being called the largest mass shootings in U. S. history, a shooter fired into a crowd at a country  music country festival last night in Las Vegas.

The last known reports state at least 58 are dead and more than 500 are injured.

Allegedly, the suspect shooter, Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nevada, had 10 assault rifles in a room at Mandalay Bay, where he had checked himself into several days prior. He allegedly had two shooting platforms and cameras set up in the hallway.  

Paddock killed himself prior to police entering the room.

No known motive is known as of news time.

Country music star Jason Aldean was performing with the shooting began. Others on stage last night prior included Chris Young and Jake Owen, among others.
