The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct safety belt roadside checkpoints this week in Giles County on Highway 31 South around the 14 mile marker.

Troopers will target those operating a vehicle while unbelted and take corrective actions for other violations observed.

Also, T-H-P will conduct sobriety roadside safety checkpoints on Highway 31 South between the 3 and 4 mile markers.

Troopers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment and also take corrective actions for other violations observed.
