A Florence, Alabama, man was arrested on charges of child abuse after assaulting a young family member, officials said.

Florence Police Detective Sgt. Greg Cobb said Joshua L. Gamble, 33, 2158 McBurney Drive, is accused of breaking his 14-year-old daughter’s nose after he got mad when she wouldn’t make him Kool-Aid to drink.

He is out of jail on bail of $5,000.
