Bonds for excavation and cuts on the roads in Minor Hill are now required to be posted with the city after the Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting.

The motion was passed after second reading of Ordinance 16-204.

Also, the board adopted Resolution 17-1, which concerns adopting a public records policy.

Concerning improvements at the minor Hill Park, Mayor Tracy Wilburn said the floor of the community building has been stripped and waxed at a cost of $1,500 dollars, the concrete under the shed at the Ag-Park is finished at a cost of $4,000 dollars and work under the shelter of the concession stand is done at a cost of $2,800 dollars. He also said improvements in the park are being made currently.
