An Elkton man has pleaded guilty to a two-year-old homicide case.

In Giles County Circuit Court Sept. 5, Joseph Reginald Bradley, 33, under an agreement with the District Attorney, entered a guilty plea to second-degree murder and one count of aggravated child abuse.

Bradley was indicted by a grand jury in September 2015 for the first-degree murder of his girlfriend, Deborah Dionne Cosby, and originally two counts of aggravated child abuse.

With the plea deal, Bradley received a 40-year sentence to be served at 100 percent for the murder charge and a 20-year sentence to be served concurrently at 100 percent for the child abuse charge.

The murder occurred April 14, 2015, at the Drivers Chapel Road home in Elkton that Bradley and Cosby shared.
