The Giles County Fire and Rescue Swift Water Team was called out to the Vales Mill Boat Ramp earlier today.

A phone call from a passerby alerted authorities to a capsized boat floating on Richland Creek in that area.

The Swift Water Team was dispatched to the scene to search the area. No other information is available at this time.
