Nicky J. Johns, the Columbia man who is a murder suspect in Mississippi, has been found.  

According to media reports, Johns was caught by a U.S. Marshal Task Force Thursday in Lafayette, Louisiana, after a vehicle and foot pursuit.

Authorities arrested Johns shortly after he was found hiding in a garbage can.

Johns is accused of killing Christopher Rochelle, of Columbia, in the parking lot of a Travelodge Hotel in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
