Jessie Campbell has been appointed East Tennessee Public Affairs coordinator for the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. She will serve as the primary point of contact for the public and facilitate outreach activities in East Tennessee.

Campbell joins the Department of Agriculture following two years as the development coordinator for the Tennessee Future Farmers of America Foundation.

She grew up on a farm in Sweetwater and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in agriculture. She is nearing completion of her masters in Agricultural Communications and Leadership.

Active in her community, Campbell is a member of the Rotary Club of Cookeville and the Knoxville Chamber Agribusiness Committee.
