The quick response of the Pulaski Fire Department and training of Meadowbrook Health and Rehab staff are why residents are safe and routine is back to normal today.

The Meadowbrook facility was the scene of an electrical fire Thursday morning. Pulaski Fire Chief Don Collins said the fire was small and there was no fire or smoke damage done.

As they were trained, the Meadowbrook staff evacuated all residents to the parking lot and returned them safely to their rooms after the fire department cleared the scene.

Collins called Pulaski Electric System, requesting help since it was an electrical fire.

The Fire Chief commends the Meadowbrook staff for their professionalism in the situation and doing exactly what they have been trained to do.

Meadowbrook Administrator Nikki Raymer thanks her staff, and those from the hospital, TN School of Applied Technology and First Responders. She said she is proud of her staff, adding the situation could not have run any better without them and the help from the community.
