The Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously passed an ordinance on second and final reading to rezone property on East College Street after a Public Hearing was held during the regular session meeting Tuesday.

Mayor Pat Ford asked for comments from the audience gathered in the City Hall Boardroom. No one asked to speak, and Ford closed the hearing.

Alderman Franklin Hardin did ask about a possible drainage problem around that property. It was decided to ask the Planning Commission to look into the matter.

On a motion from Alderman Randy Massey, seconded by Alderman Ricky Keith, which passed unanimously, the property will be rezoned from R-3, medium density residential, to R-5, cottage housing residential.

The board approved a parade permit to Mike English upon a contingency. The date English requested is a rain date for another event.

Alderman Vicky Harwell made a motion to approve the request for English as long as that date is not used for the rain date. Harwell also requested a discussion about rain dates be added to the next work session agenda.
